Birthdays come once a year but a kind gesture creates a ripple effect for a lifetime!
On Thursday, 7th October 2021, some staff of Adonai Estate Limited together with the CEO, Mr. Bright Adonai, made a donation of GHC5, 700.00 to the Ho Teaching Hospital (Trafalgar). The money is supposed to cater to the hospital bill of four patients who have been treated for their illnesses and have only been discharged in-house to settle their bills before leaving the hospital.
The CEO, a pastor, loves giving and helping others. He, thus, chose to celebrate his birthday, 7th October 2021, with the less privileged patients.
The gesture also aimed to contribute to the community as a Corporate Social Responsibility.
The CEO, Dr. John Tampuori of the Ho Teaching Hospital stated that the hospital has not seen many such gestures. He also mentioned that Mr. Bright Adonai has not only helped and supported the four patients but also supported the Hospital, the region, and the country at large. He expressed his gratitude to the team and made a call to the general public to consider replicating the gesture.
Mr. Bright Adonai on the other hand said that the donation was the first of its kind and the company intends to do more by continuously supporting the Hospital. It was also a scriptural fulfillment and he deems it a privilege to be in a position to do so. He further mentioned that it was the beginning of the Adonai Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization that will help the less privileged and marginalized in society.
